Information we collect

• Early access: your email, the page you signed up on, campaign tags and referrer, and any optional answers you give (what you're here for, where you go out).
• Partner applications: name, email, phone (optional), venue or company, what you run, city, website or Instagram, interests and your message.
• Contact details: name, email, phone number, country code and billing address.
• Bookings: event, venue, ticket tier, quantity, order total, promo code, reservation date, table preference, minimum spend, party size and guest split.
• Client and operator history: inquiries, reservations, payments, ticket scans, staff notes, source site and follow-up activity.
• Technical and attribution data: approximate region from IP address, browser, device, landing page, referrer, UTM tags and ad click IDs such as GCLID and FBCLID.
• Messages you send us by form, email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone or other support channels.

How we use information

• Process tickets, VIP table inquiries, reservations, confirmations, check-in and support, and coordinate with venues.
• Send the early access updates, ticket drops and event news you signed up for, and reply to partner applications.
• Decide which cities and events to launch, using the optional answers you give.
• Connect your history across The Party App and related sites so venues and staff can serve repeat guests better.
• Measure search, ads, AI referrals, social campaigns and partner performance.
• Detect fraud, abuse, duplicate bookings, chargeback risk and security problems.
• Improve speed, design, search, recommendations, reporting and venue operations.

AI assistants

You can find our events inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT. When you search there, the assistant sends us only what it needs to answer you: a city, a date, a venue or artist name, or search words. It may also send general hints like your language or rough area; we don't keep them. We don't receive your name, email, phone number or your conversation through the assistant, and you don't need an account to search.

We use these requests only to show public event and venue listings, with links to our pages. Our assistant server keeps basic connection logs (IP address, time and type of request, not your search words) for 14 days for security, then deletes them. We don't sell this information or use it for advertising.

If you follow a link to one of our pages and buy a ticket or send a VIP table request, you give us your details there, and the rest of this policy applies to them, including noting that your visit came from an AI assistant (see How we use information).

How the assistant handles your conversation is covered by its own privacy policy; for ChatGPT, that's OpenAI's.

Email and text messages

• We send marketing email only to people who signed up for it or bought from us where the law allows. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it.
• We send marketing text messages only to people who gave express consent to receive them. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to texts is never a condition of a purchase.
• Order confirmations, tickets and reservation messages are sent as needed even if you opt out of marketing.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How we share information

• With venues, event organizers, promoters, managers and staff when needed to fulfill tickets, table requests, guest lists, reservations, support and door operations. For example, when you buy a ticket to an organizer's event, we share the order details they need to run the door.
• With service providers for hosting, payments, email, analytics, advertising, CRM, security, logging and support. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
• With legal, compliance, payment dispute or law enforcement parties when required or appropriate.
• As part of a business transaction such as a financing, merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with appropriate protections.
• Partner applications stay with our team. We don't share them with other partners.

Payments

• Card payments are processed by payment providers such as Stripe. We don't store full card numbers or security codes.
• We may keep payment status, order and transaction IDs, the last four digits and card brand, and refund status.
• When you accept an event's refund or payment policy at checkout, we keep the IP address, device and time of that acceptance with your order, as evidence if a payment is disputed.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

• We use cookies, local storage, pixels and similar tools to keep sessions and checkout working, remember attribution, measure performance and improve advertising. These may include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, Stripe and our own attribution systems.
• You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may limit checkout, forms or personalization.
• We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, where that right applies.

We don't sell your information

We don't sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies on our sites may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain US state laws. You can opt out as described in Your privacy choices below.

Your privacy choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any email, or email ops@theparty.app.
• Opt out of sharing for targeted advertising by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing ops@theparty.app with the subject "Privacy request".
• Ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information by emailing ops@theparty.app with the subject "Privacy request". We'll verify your request using the email or phone tied to your account or order.

Your rights by state

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what we collect, access it, correct it, delete it, get a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale or profiling. You can use an authorized agent. We won't discriminate against you for using these rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

• Categories we collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (orders and reservations), internet activity (pages, referrers, campaign tags), approximate location from IP address, and the content of messages you send us. We don't collect government ID numbers through our sites.
• Sources: you, your device, venues and organizers you book with, and our service providers.
• Purposes and recipients: as described in How we use information and How we share information above.

How long we keep information

• Early access sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After you unsubscribe we keep only what's needed to honor it.
• Partner applications: up to 3 years, or for the length of the partnership.
• Orders, payments and reservations: as long as needed for accounting, tax, chargebacks and legal requirements, generally up to 7 years.
• Technical logs: for shorter periods, unless needed for security or fraud investigations.

Age, security and international visitors

• The Party App is for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and we delete it if we learn we have.
• We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.
• We're based in the United States and process information there. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll give notice on the site or by email.
